Functieomschrijving & werkzaamheden
As Business Development Manager at Ask Phill, you collaborate closely with the Commercial Director of Ask Phill to optimise and streamline the flow on inbound sales prospects. The ideal candidate is a commercial, ambitious, young professional with proven experience in the field of business development/sales/account management, and you have an affinity with the tech & e-commerce industry.
You have the opportunity and responsibility to take control of the inbound sales and business development processes at Ask Phill. In your role, you are the first point of contact for new and existing clients when it comes to new business requests. We are in a luxury position that all sales processes are in-bound, and there is no need for outbound/cold sales. The main goal of this position is to introduce our company, understand the client’s challenges and be able to create a proposal for these clients based on their needs, timeline and budget.

Ask Phill is looking for a talented, full-time Business Development Manager with at least 2 years Business Development/Sales experience to join our fast-paced, young, growing E-commerce Agency in Amsterdam. Our awards winning agency is focused on design, development, data and strategy in the e-commerce industry. With a client base consisting of fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands. Ask Phill is one of the leading Shopify development agencies in Europe.
Job requirements:
- 1-3 years of commercial work experience (Business Development/Account Management)
- Strong communication and relationship building skill
- Fluent in English & Dutch
- Preferable tech and/or e-commerce experience
Additional useful experience:
- Experience with web development projects
- Experience with other e-commerce
- Have worked within a variety of agile development teams and processes
Technologies you will use:
Pipedrive, Google Sheets, Asana, Docusign & Moneybird.
