About BYBORRE We are a textile innovation company based in Amsterdam where we’re focused on drastically changing the textile industry as we know it today. With an in-house knit lab with a range of circular knitting machines, extensive yarn library, a creative atelier and a consultancy design company we are experimenting and innovating to create the highest quality knits. It is our mission to create conscious creators and invite a wide variety of brands from world leading companies, from sportswear, to fashion, all the way to interior and automotive. Some of these brands include adidas, BMW, Rapha, Gore-Tex, and more. We ask these respected institutions to be “part of something bigger” and explore the power of bespoke and conscious textile creation together with us. The future of BYBORRE is to allow these brands to create in a conscious manner through an online platform (Create™), digitising the full supply chain from designing your unique textile through to producing the fabric. We believe in transparency, supplying creators with tools to design and construct their own knits, based on their specific requirements, and make textile creation a fundamental part of their design process. About the team
- Be part of a dynamic, international team (30+ people) in Amsterdam Mix of experts in different fields (knit engineers, atelier specialists, yarn specialists, Chief Pocket Officer, knit designers, in-house digital team and more)
- Help build the tools for textile's future
- In this role you will be working closely with our Creative Director & Brand Director
About the job
At BYBORRE we’re growing rapidly into the platform that will transform the textile industry as we know it today. We call it BYBORRE Create™ and it empowers creators all around the world with creative freedom, enabling them to play with intuitive tools and innovative solutions. Our mission is to allow for more conscious decisions in the design process to make better textiles for the products we use everyday. Next to that we design and distribute our own Editions™ that serve as a showcase of what is possible with our textiles, inspiring creators to develop textiles with us. To further grow our brands, and thereby improve the textile industry as we know it today, we are looking for a Brand Designer to produce and oversee creative solutions that address our marketing and sales needs. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop an idea into a concept (eg. client R&D projects), apply visual design skills and be able to develop brand identities. We would like to see experience executing marketing projects from conception to digital & print, including websites, printed material and product packaging. Ultimately, you will ensure the design team promotes our brand and shares our ideology with the world using the highest quality assets. Inspiring creators to make better textiles for the products we use everyday. What you'll be doing On a day-to-day basis, you will be:
- Generating and producing ideas to attract new Create™ clients serving the BusDev team.
- Mapping the touch points of the Create™ client journey and improving communications that result in a consistent and understandable experience.
- Overseeing the recurring Editions™ timeline, from visual concept to launch.
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout our communications.
- Working closely with our Brand Director and Creative Director on the longer term vision of the brand.
- Reviewing junior designers’ work to ensure brand standards are met.
- Ensuring deadlines are met and expectations are managed with other team members.
- Playing and having fun while growing the business.

What we're looking for in the ideal candidate. Not all of these are must haves, so please take the leap to get in touch even if you don't feel you meet all criteria:
- 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as brand design, visual design, advertising etc.
- Identify and create templates and/or brand guidelines to systemise design within the company
- Concept creation from storytelling to design to execution
- Experience with design frameworks and systems
- Self-starter and pioneering mindset
- Motivated to bring change and work for a purpose driven mission
