Our production company is called VPF. The original production of VPF Amsterdam was mainly focused on the lighting industry. Nowadays VPF Amsterdam is active in many other industries such as wall covering, textile trading and the manufacturing of other lamination specialties. Labels included in our company group are DWC Amsterdam and Feline Fabrics.

We are looking for a new Buyer / Merchandiser for our fast growing family business. We love interior design and are active in the textiles and lamination-industry. Based in Amsterdam, with in-house production facilities and a showroom. Are you going to be part of our enthusiastic team?
We are looking for a new Buyer / Merchandiser for our fast growing family business. We are a strong growing Amsterdam based family business, active in the textile and lamination industry.
Purchasing:
- Responsible for purchasing textiles and related items
- Contract negotiation, with regards to price and conditions
- Optimization of the assortment and monitoring quality
- Purchasing analysis for management
Stock control:
- Ensuring optimal stock availability
- Placing and monitoring stock orders
- Preparing forecasts
- Monitoring planned actions and promotions and the corresponding available stock
- Article management in Exact Globe
Operational Management:
- Solving urgent delivery problems
- Coordinating and communicating with the logistics department and our suppliers
- Noticing and solving inefficient logistical processes
- Participating in regular meetings
