Customer Service Employee (Temporary)
Filling Pieces is an Amsterdam-based fashion label with a strong core in luxury footwear. Founded in 2009 by Guillaume Philibert, the brand continues with the aim of bridging the gap between different worlds. Influenced by its melting pot of cultural roots, Filling Pieces believes in bringing together opposites and creating a world where talent and creativity can flourish. What started out as one sneaker silhouette created to form a bridge between streetwear and high-end fashion segments, has now grown into a design label with an extended product portfolio of Ready-To-Wear and accessories. All products are carefully made - mostly in Portugal, with a high value on quality and craftsmanship. The brand's global distribution network exists of high-end boutiques, department stores and top-tier sneaker accounts which include Barneys New York, KITH, SSENSE, Selfridges, United Arrows & Sons, Mr Porter, and END. Clothing. Having a strong and diverse cultural background and deeply-rooted connection to the worlds of art, architecture, music and sports, Filling Pieces champions its international community of like-minded people, with seasonal activations, showrooms, and experiences in London, Paris, New York and its hometown, Amsterdam. Filling Pieces’ headquarters is home to a group of talented individuals with a multitude of ethnicities and backgrounds, which gives the brand its global outlook. The company also has a production office and development lab in Portugal. Within the next few years the brand's ambition is to open up physical retail locations in its key markets - London, New York, Paris and Amsterdam, whilst also expanding its e-commerce.
About the job
We are looking for a strong service-oriented Customer Service Employee who is available from 28 October 2019 until mid January 2020. In your role you will provide customers with accurate, valid and complete information regarding our products and services. Requirements
- Provide the best customer care in order to enhance worldwide customer satisfaction
- Share information in database and inform team members and other relevant parties of any updates
- Answer questions from our customers properly and efficiently through telephone, e-mail, social media, chat and WhatsApp
- Offer personalized customer support through these digital channels
- Follow up and monitor live social media dialogues
- Stay up to date with social media and digital communication trends
- Ensure that all customers’ concerns and enquiries are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner
- Evaluate and make proactive suggestions to improve the customer experience

- Available Saturday and Sunday
- Available for at least 18 hours per week from 28 October 2019 - 28 November 2019 for training purposes
- Available for at least 32 hours per week from 29 November 2019 - mid January 2020
- Experience in customer service is preferred
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language
- Strong focus on sustainable customer satisfaction
- You are accurate and well organized
- You are enthusiastic
- You have a lot of patience and are able to remain professional in all situations
- You are flexible and dynamic
- You have a pro-active service minded attitude
- You like to solve problems
- You are a team player and are open-minded to a diverse range of cultures
