Together with the launch of his first book Jimmy Nelson set up the Jimmy Nelson Studio; a team of ten creatives who have evolved into a family. This artistic enterprise is based in Amsterdam and is a creative studio that celebrates cultural diversity through a multitude of media. With Jimmy Nelson’s photography as the building block, books, artworks, exhibitions, and films are created to reignite the love for humanity. We push ourselves to create art on the highest level possible in order to share their power, wisdom, and beauty with the world.
About the job
Creating Interdependent Social Media Strategies for each channel; Expanding, building and running the Jimmy Nelson Studio Social Media Channels; Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers; Managing our online communities and responding to comments on each of our accounts; Growing our communities in successful and creative ways; Analyzing data to determine whether the Social Media Strategy is achieving the objectives, and optimize accordingly;
Dit is wie je bent
- Experience in developing and implementing successful Social Media Strategies; [Content, Promotion & Engagement strategy] for each unique channel;
- Ability and drive to work autonomously;
- Experience with and/or interest in the channel TikTok is a big plus;
- Great social skills and the ability to work closely together with Jimmy Nelson in order to translate his vision to our Social Channels;
- Experience in writing original and commercial copy in the English language;
- Understanding of commercial graphic design principles and measure the success of campaigns based on the objectives;
- Out of the box creative thinker;
- A positive ‘the sky's the limit’ mentality, thinking of the great possibilities the realm of Social Media has to offer;
- Affinity with esthetics, art and photography;
- The wish to contribute to a better world for us and the generations to come.
