TicketSwap is on a journey to become the world’s favourite platform for fans to buy and sell tickets. Having just raised our first-ever funding round we are looking forward to a strong second half of 2021; swapping tickets, launching in new countries and rolling out new product features. TicketSwap is growing fast in new products, services and markets. With this growth, the finance function is getting more and more important to maintain control of our business. Growing in all these different kinds of areas imposes a lot of complexity in terms of reporting, taxes, legal, compliance and many other areas. That’s why we are on the lookout for a Financial Administrator to join our Finance team!
About the job
You will join the Finance & Accounting team, which consists of the CFO and the Financial Controller. Your responsibilities comprise of all internal and external financial reports, implementing and maintaining an internal control environment and many more finance/accounting related projects. You will work closely with the data team to get key insights from the business. In addition, you will be involved in a lot of projects initiated by the product team and provide legal and financial advice where needed. Furthermore you will:
- Prepare monthly financial reports to the board;
- Prepare the consolidation for the group;
- Be the contact point for our external accountants (in the Netherlands and also globally);
- Support the Financial Controller in preparing departmental and company budgets, multi year forecasts and cash flow forecasts;
- Support the Financial Controller in fundraising activities, comprising debt, equity and/or crowdfunding raises;
- Help develop and maintain the internal controls framework and risk management framework;
- Responsible for all tax filings and preparation of the financial statements;
- Responsible for salary and payroll tax administration.
Dit is wie je bent
- HBO/WO education with an economic, business or accounting background;
- Your English is spot on, and Dutch-speaking is considered a plus;
- You have at least 2 years working experience in an accounting background;
- You understand accounting in its bare essentials and know how to close the books;
- You have a working understanding of Dutch corporate law;
- You have experience with processing and filing VAT, Payroll Tax, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;
- You are analytically strong and are a real problem solver;
- Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets;
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Looker, Tableau, Qlikview or others is a plus.
