About the job
We are looking for a proactive and creative PR intern with strong visual skills and an affinity for storytelling in both words and images. In this role, you will actively contribute to the public image and communication strategy of our architecture firm, helping to shape how we present ourselves to the world.
You have a genuine passion for architecture, design, and culture, and a keen interest in (social) media, branding, and public relations. Working closely with our communications and design teams, you will support the creation and distribution of content across various platforms, from press releases and newsletters to social media campaigns and portfolio submissions.
You will help strengthen relationships with journalists, cultural institutions, and industry partners, while also acting as a bridge between internal teams to ensure consistency in our messaging. We're looking for someone who’s both strategic and hands-on, who dares to think outside the box and is eager to contribute ideas that elevate our brand’s visibility.
Responsibilities
- Handling press requests and other inquiries
- Supporting in the execution of the firm’s communication strategy
- Maintaining internal organizational structures and databases
- Producing engaging, eye-catching content for different channel types
- Researching publications, exhibitions, presentations, events, and lectures
- Monitoring media and press clippings in print and online
- Supporting with press archives and contacts
- Producing presentations and press packs
- Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks
Dit is wie je bent
- Enrolled in a degree in communication, marketing, journalism or related field
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Figma, InDesign and Photoshop, PremierePro is a big plus)
- Confident with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Interest in architecture, design, and cultural communication
- An eye for detail and high-end design
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required
- Proactive, organized, and able to multitask in a team setting
- Available 3–5 days/week for 5–6 months
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to gain broad experience in an international architecture and design firm.
