Jimmy Nelson

Together with the launch of his first book Jimmy Nelson set up the Jimmy Nelson Studio; a team of ten creatives who have evolved into a family. This artistic enterprise is based in Amsterdam and is a creative studio that celebrates cultural diversity through a multitude of media. With Jimmy Nelson’s photography as the building block, books, artworks, exhibitions, and films are created to reignite the love for humanity. We push ourselves to create art on the highest level possible in order to share their power, wisdom, and beauty with the world.

The Jimmy Nelson Foundation aims to contribute to safeguarding and sharing knowledge about the world’s indigenous cultures. The pictures made by photographer Jimmy Nelson are the basis for the Foundations’ work. The Foundation is moving to a new phase to increase her contribution to local communities.
