We are Colourcake; a multidisciplinary creative agency where we create and communicate brands across fashion, lifestyle and hospitality. A youthful and fast-growing family of art directors, graphic designers, strategists, print managers, account managers, copywriters and business developers. Our story We take on any challenge, think outside the box and keep it moving. This brought us from a two person office space in The Hague to a twenty+ person (and counting), ever-evolving, acreative agency at the Danzigerkade in Amsterdam. Together we’ve created an environment where eager individuals can discover, develop and shine. We work for a range of clients from up and coming local brands to established brands such as CitizenM Hotels, Tommy Hilfiger, Patagonia, Calvin Klein, Scotch & Soda, Nike, Mystic and Puma.
About the job
- You will be a lead and main point of contact for clients within the print, packaging and branding space and responsible for tasks ranging from project briefs to creative solutions and timelines to budgets. - You manage the production processes from A to Z (buying -> delivery) - You define the most efficient production technique by achieving the optimal balance in buying + selling price and production timing - You are responsible for the creation and execution of the production planning to ensure products are delivered on schedule, meet the expectations and budgets - You identify and highlight potential risk and find solutions together with the suppliers - You make sure that everyone in the process understands what needs to be done to get it manufactured (Our designers as well as our suppliers) - You are on top of outputs and processes and you constantly communicate with our suppliers in Asia, USA, Europe or within the Netherlands - Explore new business opportunities within or outside your network and collaborate with the business development team in order to increase sales across current and new potential clients - Keep up to date with the latest developments and trends within the print, packaging and branding spaces
Dit is wie je bent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience within the print, packaging and / or branding industries
- A Bachelor's degree
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Some technical knowledge to understand the production processes are useful
- Startup mentality - thinking outside the box, explorative and dynamic thinking - drive to make the impossible possible
- Adapt to working with tight deadlines
- Able to collaborate with many people and translate their needs into the products
- Are commercially-minded, with strong attention for detail and understanding of opportunities to expand business with clients
- Are detail-oriented (perhaps a little bit of a perfectionist) and very well organized
- Willing to travel
- True team player, energetic and happy to be a hands-on member of our fun team
