About the job
Responsible for managing all product allocations, weekly replenishments, and stock optimization for both full-price and outlet stores. Ensure optimal stock levels per location and maximize commercial opportunities across all Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels. Motivated to grow into a Merchandise Planner role, with a strong ambition to support and collaborate with global teams.
You proactively identify sales patterns and market trends, demonstrating a clear understanding of our customer base. This role is part of the office-based DTC team, working closely with cross-functional departments.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Strategically allocate and manage reservation stock levels properly throughout the full-price store network, outlet, and denham.com.
- Running weekly analysis to maximize sales opportunities to improve the accuracy of replenishments and meet the DTC sales targets.
- Liaising with the product divisions and other key internal departments regarding various issues such as delivery dates and product feedback to ensure strong product assortment on the store level.
- Review performance to determine appropriate allocation and stock decisions for maximum results. Develop store assortments based on store profiles to drive inventory planning and ensure in-stock targets are met.
- Analyse category sales on size level, by store, and make necessary recommendations to merchandisers.
- Manage and execute store-to-store transfer process.
- Optimizing collection sell-through between DTC channels and reporting on sell-through monthly to the commercial and product teams.
- Maintain and develop the assortment architecture based on ideal option needs by store size and product group.
- Analyse performance and results of previous buying strategies and make tactical adjustments for increased profitability.
- Analyse product performance on store level and stock situation.
- Full management of the MFO styles, Retail specials and other brands.
- Manage stock levels by: developing forecasts of sales and inventory and optimizing stock between DTC channels.
- Collect and analyse account sell-through reports to support business decisions.
- Provide seasonal support for wholesale product reviews.
- Execute replenishment orders and store requests in a timely manner.
- Manage seasonal order entry at size and style level.
- Perform pre-allocations at store level prior to shipment.
- Create and maintain seasonal allocation plans in the ERP to ensure accurate and timely product flow to stores.
- Support pricing and promotional activities in collaboration with sales and marketing.
- Contribute to stock planning (close out) for outlet stores.
- Assist with the MFO buy plan.
- Support product strategy with product learnings and post-season analysis.
- Conduct sizing analyses to help improve buy strategies and reduce overstock/undersupply.

Desired skills and experience
- At least 1-3 years experience working as a Merchandiser in a Retail environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Fashion, Finance or Merchandising preferred.
- Very strong communication and analytical skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills (high-level Excel is a must).
- ERP system experience, and good understanding off PowerBi.
- Experience of outlet environment is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and to prioritize and multi-task.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with our store and head office teams.
- Language fluent in English and Dutch, both verbal and written.
