From our office in Amsterdam, GEA Live designs, produces and distributes live entertainment inspired by and in collaboration with beloved brands and IPs. Projects range from TV shows, Film and Music, with its focus on Gaming and Anime, including Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Demon Slayer in Concert, Dirty Dancing In Concert and Twilight In Concert, among many others.

About the job

As the Coordinator Commercial Operations, you will support the commercial performance of our IP-in-Concert productions through sales analysis, market research, and close collaboration with promoters worldwide. You will track and analyze ticket sales, identify trends and opportunities, and communicate actionable insights to internal teams and presenting partners. This role also supports market, ticket pricing and audience research, and the development of data-driven project pitches. Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and an interest in live entertainment and touring are essential.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaborating with sales teams, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure every production becomes a success.

Responsibilities include:

Sales Reporting & Analysis:

  • Collect and organize ticket sales data to produce clear, actionable reports.
  • Analyze sales trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide follow-up communication to internal teams and promoters regarding necessary adjustments or areas where additional sales support is needed.

Market Research & Insights:

  • Research emerging IP, genres, and audience niches with potential for development into IP-in-Concert productions.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities beyond the current slate, including new or emerging markets.
  • Perform audience analyses for each show during the pre-booking phase and develop initial strategic frameworks for all IPs.
  • Benchmark ticket pricing strategies, venue selections, and capacity considerations against comparable productions in the market.
  • Create data-driven project pitches—including one-pagers and insight summaries—to effectively communicate opportunities to promoters.

Promoter Communication:

  • Develop sales trajectories and revenue expectations with promoters in advance of announcements and on-sale dates.
  • Monitor and interpret ongoing sales performance to ensure alignment with established marketing and sales plans.
  • Coordinate with promoters on marketing activations, scheduling, insights, and any necessary course corrections.
  • Share comprehensive marketing kits pre marketing introduction —aligned with licensor marketing beats and activation requirements—to support promoters in planning and executing their campaigns.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with promoters to provide feedback, insights, and updates on plans, discounts, and promotional needs.

Merchandise Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, licensors, and merchandise operators to support tour-wide merchandise strategies and operations.
  • Support creative design coordination to ensure merchandise concepts align with IP guidelines, tour branding, and market insights.
  • Assist with merchandise production advancing, timelines, and approvals in collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Communicate merchandise plans, requirements, and updates to promoters to ensure smooth on-site execution and alignment with local market needs.

  • You have 1+ year’s experience in a commercial, sales or coordination role, preferably within live entertainment, events, or related fields.
  • You are comfortable working with sales data, market research, and performance metrics to generate clear, data-driven insights.
  • You are highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • You have strong analytical skills paired with clear written and verbal communication abilities.
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership and working independently.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating with diverse, international partners, including promoters, licensors, and vendors.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Office, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • You are fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • You are available full-time and able to work on-site in the Amsterdam office for at least four days per week.
  • You hold a valid Dutch residence and/or work permit.
  • An interest in live entertainment—especially IP-driven events across music, film, gaming, or anime—is a strong plus.
