Global Master Rights (GMR) is one of the world’s leading neighbouring rights agencies and is part of peermusic NR, the performance rights division of peermusic, the largest independent music publisher in the world. GMR represents some of the biggest record labels and performers in the music industry and works to ensure they receive all the royalties they’re entitled too. Working closely with Collective Management Organisations around the globe we harness data and expertise in local territories to deliver an unrivalled service to our clients. About the job
Finances are an essential part of what we do at GMR, and we’re looking for an experienced candidate to support our team in this area. You have strong numeracy skills and are familiar with the processes and procedures related to bookkeeping. The duties in this function will include:
- Prepare year-end management accounts using QuickBooks
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Withholding tax forms preparation and submission
- Subsequent dealings with tax authorities based on the activities above
- Prepare Monthly Cash Reports and Monthly Cash Balance Reports
- Accounts payable
- Payroll
- Update insurances and retirement arrangements on online portals
- Assist with ISP and royalties
- Assist with accounting chart of accounts, affiliate CIT requirements in Holland, unified payment platforms
- Primary bank liaison

Global Master Rights (GMR) is looking for a Finance Coordinator to join our growing team in Amsterdam. This position will require the following qualification and skills:
- Educated to HBO-level or higher, ideally in accounting or financial administration study
- At least five years of work experience in the field of finance
- Familiar with industry accounting software and practices
- Analytical, flexible, motivated and work effectively in a small team
- Confident working independently
- Some knowledge of music rights and the wider music industry would be a plus
- Knowledge of foreign languages (French, German, or Spanish) is a plus
