About the job

Accelerate our growth by taking the lead in our email marketing strategy. Your mission We're looking for our first-ever email marketing specialist to take ownership of our email lifecycle nurturing programs. Email is a crucial driver for obtaining new customers, giving them a smooth onboarding, and improving customer engagement. The ideal candidate is data-driven and obsessed with creating and delivering the right content to the right people at the right time. On a day-to-day basis, you work with our marketing colleagues in content, growth, operations, SEO, and creative. You’ll report to the Head of Brand & Content. About the team As the Brand & Content Team within the Marketing Department, our mission is to build one of the most recognizable brands in the B2B SaaS market (think Gong, Chili Piper, Metadata.io). Our objective is creating top content that helps the HR & Talent Acquisition audience hire better together. By continuously providing this content at the right time on the right channel, we aim to accelerate our growth even further. Our ever-growing team currently consists of 4 Content Marketers (USA, DACH, FR), an Events Manager, and the Head of Brand & Content Marketing. Your 12 Month Journey The first three months You will spend focusing on learning everything there is to know about Recruitee: understand the product, our processes, the marketing and content strategy, the teams, the customers, and more. You drilled down on our conversion rates throughout the buyer journey, analyzed our current email campaigns, and started working on creating a playbook to turn email into our number one conversion channel. You conceptualized and launched your first email campaigns. First 6 months You understand how to revamp the overall lifecycle nurturing strategy, and you see conversion rates increase after your consistent and documented experiments. The segmentation strategy is live, and the first progressive profiling experiments are in progress. You worked on optimizing and simplifying our email programs and created a scalable and repeatable process for email marketing at Recruitee. After six months, you have proposed the email strategy and optimization roadmap and prioritized your ideas by impact and effort. First 12 months You fully own the lifecycle email strategy and are proud of the significant impact on our MRR you made. With your proven playbook, Recruitee will confidently enter new markets to scale even further.   What you’ll do

  • Develop the lifecycle email nurture strategy by persona and focus market, including segmentation strategy
  • Create and own email strategy and email conversion optimization roadmap prioritized by impact and effort
  • End to end responsible for all email campaigns (concept, writing, execution, review, and QA)
  • Lead the creation and execution of Recruitee’s email content calendar
  • Create email marketing best practices, document them, and convert them into playbooks for new go-to-market strategies
  • Grow our subscriber base and improve email conversion rates throughout the buyer journey, including analysis and reporting

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Email pro: at least three years of experience with email marketing strategy
  • Experience with lead scoring and inbound marketing through Hubspot or other Marketing Automation platforms
  • Your English is fluent, both verbal and written.
  • A fast learner with an agile mindset who shows initiative and loves experimenting with new tactics

Preferred/a plus

  • The ideal candidate has a B2B demand generation, SaaS, or HR Technology background.
  • Product-led growth, content marketing, and account-based marketing are no strangers to you.
  • Conversational marketing experience
  • Basic HTML & CSS knowledge and email design skills
  • Writing German, Dutch or French
