About the job
As an innovative and fast-growing company, we are always on the lookout for new Youngsters to join our family. We’re looking for a Sales and Reservations Manager who is responsible for dealing with all incoming reservations; confirmations and will be handling groups enquiries for the different restaurant concepts. The Sales and Reservations Manager will work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure that reservations are dealt with effectively, while maximising revenue wherever possible and will convert enquires into sales in order to maximise revenue. He or she will make the most out of conference and events bookings. Responsibilities
- Receive incoming group and individual reservation enquiries; to deal with all telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Work closely with the different General Managers to quote rates and inventory in order to maximise revenue in a timely manner.
- Build strong relationships with guests to fully understand their needs and convert the business.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of all locations in order to cross sell, if appropriate.
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events and groups such as producing offers, contracts and event orders.
- Ensure guests are provided with prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition.
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships that drive continuous improvements in guest satisfaction.
- Communicate to appropriate departments all pertinent information related to any particular guest needs.
- Where directed, perform show arounds.
