The Avocado Show was founded in 2017, and - what's in a name - creates pretty healthy food made with/from avocados. With over 150.000 followers on Instagram, restaurants in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and many more countries to come, and the avocado being named the most popular fruit in the Netherlands last year - we are well on our way to take over the world and share our pretty healthy food with everyone!
About the job
What will you be doing? Restaurant marketing
- Project management, implementation and reporting for company-owned restaurant promotions and advertising campaigns.
- Responding to marketing requests from our Operations/Restaurant staff.
- Executing marketing programs with our delivery partners: Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
- Maintaining digital listings for our restaurants (Google, Facebook, etc.) and monitoring restaurant reviews across various online platforms.
Franchisee marketing
- Project management of marketing programs for new franchisee openings including location branding, POS, photography, PR advertising and social.
- Responding to ongoing marketing requests from franchisees and their agencies.
Brand marketing
- Managing theavocadoshow.com: content planning and execution, restaurant listings, digital menus and overall maintenance/updates.
- Managing our web shop: content updates and day-to-day operations including inventory management, order processing, fulfilment and customer service.
- Responding to and resolving all messages sent to our general e-mail inbox.
- Overseeing social media community management.
- Ad hoc projects, including research, presentations and analyses as needed.
Dit is wie je bent
What do you bring to the table?
- You hold a Bachelor degree in Marketing or Advertising.
- You have 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role with an established brand or marketing agency.
- You are fluent/native spoken and written in English (Dutch, Spanish and French are plusses).
- Prior experience with a restaurant or FMCG brand is strongly preferred.
- Furthermore, you are an excellent communicator; speaking and writing come naturally for you.
- You like meeting people and working collaboratively, while you can also handle a little ambiguity and can find your way even if the answer is unclear.
- You embrace hard work and don’t shy away from it, as you want to deliver great output.
- You have an eye for detail and are a little bit OCD (which means you have an organized way of working).
- And most important of all: you LOVE this brand!
