Yap Agency is looking for a Booking Agent Assistant
Founded in 2020 and backed by over 17 years of industry experience, Yap Agency is a fast-growing booking agency with a passion for electronic music and a keen eye for talent. Our roster includes internationally renowned artists such as Restricted, Coone, LEVI, CYRIL, Will Sparks and Timmy Trumpet.
To support our continued growth, we are looking for an eager and experienced Booking Assistant to join our team.
About the job
As a booking assistant at Yap Agency, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the international dance music industry and become an active part of our day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the booking process, including contract, payment and artwork follow-ups
- Checking and reviewing event artwork to ensure all artist information is correct and up to date
- Coördinate logistics and planning for performances and events
- Analyze market trends and competition to develop strategies for artistic growth
- Assisting the team with various operational, administrative and commercial tasks
- Build and maintain professional relationships with artists and their management
- Actively seeking new booking opportunities for our artists.

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, proactive and excited to build a career in the music industry.
You:
- Have experience in the music industry or finished a study in a relevant field
- Have strong communication skills, both oral and written in English
- Are highly organised, responsible and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Have a strong eye for detail and understand the importance of accurate communication and administration
- Are proactive and flexible, and understand that the events industry doesn't always operate within traditional office hours
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are not afraid to take initiative
- Have a genuine interest in electronic music and are familiar with genres such as House, Afro House, Techno, Hardstyle and related styles
