Just off the beaten track, Panache is on the lesser-known part of Ten Kate Market, in Amsterdam West. Panache was created by good friends who joined forces to convert an old market warehouse into a vibrant bar & restaurant. The meaning of the word "panache" is a flamboyant, original, confident but not reckless way of doing things. And that's exactly what this eclectic cafe is all about. The menu is market-driven using only seasonal ingredients and sustainable seafood. Panache has a simple approach to food, cooked on a charcoal-fired grill, placed centrally in the open kitchen. The flavors are clean, simple and fresh, and meant to be shared on small and large plates. The main restaurant also features a large bar with a specialty of cocktails by the jug. The intimate bar at the front is ideal for drinks and parties for up to 70 guests.
