About the job

As Sales & Marketing Executive, you will be part of the marketing and communications team at Aedes. In this position you will support us in all marketing & communication activities, with a strong focus in our current hotel, as well the launch of our own new hotels in the pipeline.

Sales

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with (potential) clients (including, sales blitz, 1-1 meetings, client events, hotel tours, etc.) to turn them into actual guests;
  • Respond to sales and events inquiries and turn them into business (including but not limited to sending personalized proposals, doing site inspections, negotiating of rates and contract conditions, handling client requests with relevant teams, post-sales care to ensure repeat business);
  • Ensure our KPIs are being met and track our sales;
  • Making sure you’re “in the know” on the latest market news and competitor insights too;
  • Guaranteeing a good and up to date CRM for optimal commercial ties with relations;
  • Streamline and optimize our sales process from contact to conversion for our current hotel, and setup for our hotels in the pipeline.

Marketing and PR

  • Develop communications material (press releases, media briefings, newsletters, campaigns;
  • presentations, invitations, hotel collateral, etc.) and create content (copy, images, video);
  • for various marketing & communication purposes;
  • Manage our social media accounts (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and review platforms;
  • (Google reviews, TripAdvisor, etc.) and ensure they adhere to our social strategy;
  • Assist in the organization of PR visits, events, photoshoots, etc.;
  • Reaching and addressing the right target groups at different stages of the marketing;
  • funnel with creative ideas and (online) campaigns;
  • Support in creating the new brand for our hotel in the pipeline;
  • Planning and execution of content creation, as well as the briefing to creative agencies;
  • (including copy writing, photo/video shootings, social media content) ensuring delivery in;
  • adherence with brand guidelines and hotel positioning;
  • Create strategies and campaigns that promote property/brand awareness to drive sales;
  • revenue and work closely with the reservations teams to communicate partner promotions and packages.

You in a nutshell

  • Are structured and have a strong attention to detail;
  • You don’t mind getting your hands dirty and understand what it means to work in a team;
  • You are result driven and commercial, selling our places is a vital skill;
  • You hold sustainability and hospitality close you your heart;
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch with strong
  • creative writing/copywriting skills;
  • Experience with Canva, Indesign, Adobe Photoshop is a plus (but not a must!);
  • HBO or University study in Marketing & Communications or Hospitality;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales and/or marketing role, in which experience in hospitality is a big plus.
