Campaigns Manager at KLABU

Hi! We’re KLABU, which means ‘club’ in Swahili. We’re the cross-border sports club changing the playing field for refugees. Our mission is to build clubhouses where refugees can find joy, pride and hope through sports, no matter the circumstances. Each clubhouse has its own unique KLABU sportswear, available to supporters worldwide who want to play their part. Our goal: to build the world’s biggest sports club and support refugees on their way to a better future.

Now, we’re looking for a Campaigns Manager to work alongside the rest of our Storytelling Team. You will play a key role in leading KLABU productions, from brand collaborations and activations to impactful campaigns.

About the job

KLABU is entering an exciting phase of growth. Our impact is expanding, new partnerships are emerging, and the number of campaigns and activations we deliver continues to grow. Creating meaningful connections across borders is central to our work, from refugee settings to supporters around the world.

To support this momentum, we are strengthening our organisation with a dedicated Campaigns Manager. This role will be central to shaping how KLABU shows up in the world, combining strong production skills with a sharp sense of storytelling, visibility and media relevance.

What you will do

You will work closely with the Storytelling Team and collaborate across the wider KLABU organisation. You will also manage relationships with partners, agencies, media and suppliers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and managing PR and media opportunities connected to campaigns, in collaboration with the Storytelling Team
  • Coordinating logistics, timelines and production schedules from concept to delivery

  • Supporting the development of press moments, launches and media friendly activations

  • Ensuring smooth processes and clear communication throughout every project

  • A clear communicator and creative problem solver who adapts easily to changing situations
  • Someone who enjoys collaborating and building relationships, including with media and external partners
  • Highly organised, with a strong appreciation for structure, planning and detail
  • Hands on, responsible and proactive
  • Motivated by KLABU’s mission and the positive power of sport

Your skills and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in project management within advertising, marketing or media
  • Experience in in the humanitarian sector is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and cross cultural sensitivity
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organisation
  • A mission driven mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are welcome
  • Available to work from our office in Amsterdam (NB: at this stage of the organisation, we cannot support a visa unfortunately)
Dit is wat je krijgt
  • The opportunity to contribute to meaningful impact for refugees worldwide
  • A key role in a growing, purpose driven international organisation
  • A position where your role directly strengthens KLABU’s work
  • A supportive, creative and ambitious team
  • A lively workspace in Amsterdam connected to a global community
  • Full time position, 40 hours per week
  • Salary range of EUR 45,000-52,000 gross per year including holiday allowance, with room to grow in the coming years
