New Market is hiring!  Interim Art Director (6 months)

Starting in August we’re seeking for a creative, versatile talent with a strong sense of fashion and design to temporarily step in as our Art Director during maternity leave. In this role, you'll lead the creation of all brand content and visual output, from compelling visuals and sharp copy to full-scale concepts for collaborations, events, social media campaigns, retail marketing, and branding—in close collaboration with our Communications Manager. You're a visual storyteller who can shoot, film, and produce striking content that captures the New Market aesthetic, and you know how to bring brand imagery to life with a fresh, strategic edge. You are the middle(wo)men between the sales and communications divisions. 

The Job

•  You manage the social media channels of New Market, including Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence.
• You create compelling visual and written content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our community.
• You actively manage our online community—responding to comments, fostering engagement, and building meaningful digital relationships.
• You design and build newsletters and mailings in Brevo (CRM System), ensuring both style and clarity are on point.
• You develop print-ready materials for events, in-store activations, and press kits, following technical print specifications with precision.
• You keep our website content fresh and visually aligned, maintaining an up-to-date online presence.
• You support PR activities for our communications brands—Absolut Cashmere, Baum und Pferdgarten, lala Berlin, Modström, and Sessùn—in collaboration with the Communications Manager.
• You co-organize events and press moments, managing everything from planning to execution with a sharp eye for detail.
• You design press notes and communication materials that elevate every announcement and leave a lasting impression.
