About the job

🛠️ Social Media @ Bloomon

We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Strategy Manager to define and lead the creation and execution of engaging social media content and brand campaigns across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts) in the Benelux, ensuring alignment with bloomon’s brand voice and values. You’ll be responsible for optimizing and bringing fresh energy to our established channels like Instagram and Facebook, while also driving the launch and growth of newer platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Creating the social and content strategy, managing influencer partnerships and UGC campaigns. You’ll also engage with our audience in a way that feels bold, creative and always on-brand. We’re looking for someone who is excited to spot and try out emerging trends, channels, and content formats long before they hit the mainstream.

⚙️ What will you do?

You'll be responsible for everything from setting the strategy behind social campaigns and activations, to hands-on content creation. Working closely with Brand, Creative, Range and PR to ensure every post has purpose, every story inspires, and every campaign drives reach, engagement with the goal of driving measurable engagement and commercial impact all while reflecting our values as a B Corp and embedding sustainability in everything we do. 

⚙️ Responsibilities:

Content & Strategy:

  • Own and execute the organic social and content strategy (supported by Brand Lead) across all key platforms.
  • Set up a full audit of current organic content to assess alignment with our visual style, tone of voice and brand personality
  • Introduce new formats that better express us (e.g. snappy memes, hot takes, bold Reels, low-fi TikToks) that resonate with our audience: mostly Women Millennials (25–40 years old in 2025) and Generation X (41–56 years old in 2025)
  • Build and manage a content calendar, balancing always- on content with product/collection launches, brand campaigns and cultural momentsCreate and publish content directly in-platform (Instagram, TikTok) and make use of tools like; Capcut, Figma, Iconsquare, Canva or Adobe
  • Lead creative briefings and collaborate with copywriters, designers, floral stylists and brand team to shape content
  • Champion a consistent visual identity and tone of voice across all platforms Collaborate with our Sustainability Director to build hooks, campaigns and content that reflect our B Corp values and ensure sustainability is embedded in everything we do
  • Respond swiftly to cultural moments.

Community Management:

  • Actively engage with influencers and UGC creators, focusing on conversations and interactions. While our customer delight team handles many audience questions and comments it will be your responsibility to maintain a strong presence by replying to influencers’ posts, comments and DMS. Including using interactive tools (e.g., stickers, questions) to foster engagement that aligns with our tone of voice and brand personality.
  • Monitor sentiment and identify opportunities for community growth and brand advocacy
  • Encourage and reward audience interaction through UGC competitions, polls, quizzes and giveaways (e.g. win a free bouquet of choice, or subscription).

Influencer & UGC Strategy:

  • Define and implement an always-on influencer and UGC strategy, in collaboration with the PR Manager
  • Develop a scalable ecosystem of micro and macro influencers, content creators and brand fans to drive consistent always on high-quality content
  • Manage influencer outreach, gifting, paid partnerships, creative briefing, contracting, and reporting. While also staying on top of key milestones like birthdays, moves, weddings, and new-baby announcements to nurture strong relationships.
  • Ensure influencer and UGC content is repurposed effectively across other (organic and paid) channels.

Campaigns:

  • Partner with the Range team to bring new bouquets, add-ons, and packaging stories to life
  • Coordinate launch dates and campaigns, ensuring all key channels and stakeholders stay perfectly aligned
  • Collaborate with external partners on co-created content, giveaways, and strategic brand moments that expand reach and drive engagement
  • Support on broader business goals through strategic social storytelling, campaigns, and messaging.

Reporting & Optimisation:

  • Define quarterly social KPIs and platform-specific goals together with Brand Lead Track performance, identify insights and adjust strategy accordingly (monthly, per campaign and year on year)
  • Regularly share social learnings and platform trends with the wider team to upskill and inspireUse insights to test, learn, iterate and improve content performance.

✅ You will have:

  • 3–4 years of experience managing social media and content for a consumer lifestyle or D2C brand
  • Proven experience developing and executing content strategies across multiple platforms
  • A strong understanding of channel-specific best practices (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube (shorts))
  • Experience in managing influencer partnerships and content collaborationsSkilled at engaging audiences with clever, creative, visually appealing content that resonates 
  • Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma) and social tools (e.g. scheduling & analytics like Iconsquare)
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • A passion for flowers, community-building, digital culture and storytelling
  • A hands-on mentality and love for a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Driver’s license (B).
