Wij zijn Bon Ton Toys- de duurzame plush makers uit Amsterdam. Wij bestaan sinds 1933 en zijn nog altijd volop in ontwikkeling met ons eigen merk B.T. Chaps. Daarnaast hebben wij de internationale licentie voor WWF plush en de welbekende Bon Ton Toys Nijntje en hebben wij net een start gemaakt met Bon Ton Toys Peanuts [Snoopy]. Wij positioneren ons in het premium segment, opereren in meer dan 50 landen en werken met de vooraanstaande internationale retailers als Bon Marche, De Bijenkorf, Kadewe, ARKET, Harrods, Liberty London, Moma New York en nog vele meer.

At our headquarters in the Houthavens, Amsterdam, we are looking for an Online Marketing & Social Media Intern with a passion for building brands. Our product? Plush toys. Yes, really, plush toys. Maybe not the first thing you thought of when you started your studies, but it’s a global, trend-driven industry where creativity and commerce come together and where we are looking for top talent.
We are Bon Ton Toys, sustainable plush makers since 1933, based in Amsterdam and active in more than 50 countries. We are proud to be B Corp certified and a 1% for the Planet member.

About the job
To support our marketing team, we are looking for a creative and enthusiastic intern who lives and breathes social media and online marketing.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and activations
- Help shape and update the content calendar
- Conceptualize, design, and create content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
- Shoot, edit, and post content
- Spot trends and competitors and translate them into new ideas
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our online brand identity
Dit is wie je bent
- You are currently studying a relevant HBO program (e.g., AMFI, Academie Artemis, Creative Business, Marketing/Communications)
- You are fluent in both Dutch and English
- You are creative, visually oriented, and detail-focused
- You are passionate about social media, AI, and ChatGPT
- You stay up to date with the latest social media trends
- Experience with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus
- You have a commercial mindset and get energy from achieving results
- You enjoy working independently but also thrive in a team
