About the job
We are looking for a talented, creative and motivated design intern to join our ready to wear design team in Amsterdam. In this position you will support the design team with day to day tasks and seasonal design projects for a period of 6 months for 32 to 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Supporting the design and production team with day to day tasks
- Trend and material research and forecasting
- Supporting the team in completion of tech packs
- Design of graphics and artworks
- Gaining valuable experience through on design, construction, patterns, costing and fit relating to ready to wear garments
- Closely working with and supporting both design and production teams
Dit is wie je bent
- You are Bachelor student in design
- You’re passionate about fashion and design
- You have a creative mind and preferable able to draw
- You are skilled in the use of Illustrator, Photoshop and preferably Excel
- Basic knowledge of fashion and the fashion industry
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Fluent in French, Italian or Portugese is preferred
- You are able to perform under pressure
- You have sufficient planning skills
- You are organised and structured and have a hunger for knowledge
