From our office in Amsterdam, GEA Live designs, produces and distributes live entertainment inspired by and in collaboration with beloved brands and IPs. Projects range from TV shows, Film and Music, with its focus on Gaming and Anime, including Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Demon Slayer in Concert, Dirty Dancing In Concert and Twilight In Concert, among many others.
As a Sony Music Entertainment Company, GEA Live has the capability to bring hundreds of shows to life each year in any corner of the globe, with the US being the focus market.
About the job
As the Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of creating impactful marketing campaigns to promote all of our live entertainment events and tours. You will be in constant contact with our presenting partners all over the world, leading communication about sales launches, marketing campaign strategy, progressing sales and interventions leading up to show dates of our many tours. Outstanding communication, creative and analytical skills are essential. A background in (social media) marketing in the international entertainment industry is a big plus.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaborating with marketing teams, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure every production becomes a success.
Responsibilities include:
- Promoter communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for promoters, managing introductions, overseeing marketing plan reviews, facilitating meta management discussions, addressing presenter needs and insights, and ensuring timely asset approvals.
- Show website management: Ensure websites are consistently up to date with accurate show dates, announcements, and other relevant details.
- Sales reporting & follow-up: Collect and analyze ticket sales data, compile reports, and provide insights to stakeholders and the Marketing Manager. Communicate performance updates and recommend creative adjustments to drive sales.
- Data driven: Analyse and interpret marketing analytical tools such as GA4 and Meta. You are able to lead on new projects and their positioning from a data perspective.

- You have 2+ years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably within live entertainment, events, or related fields.
- You are familiar with tracking sales metrics and making data-informed recommendations.
- You are used to working with deadlines and thrive when work is dynamic and challenging.
- You are tech savvy and have experience with website content management systems and basic analytics tools.
- You are detail-oriented with exceptional project management skills to meet deadlines across multiple campaigns.
- You are ready to operate with a high degree of independent decision taking.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse (international) stakeholders.
- You have an affinity towards social media trends.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Office, Excel, Powerpoint).
- You are familiar with creative tools such as Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva and Figma.
- You are fluent in English (Dutch is not mandatory).
- You are available full-time and on-site in the Amsterdam office for at least 4 days per week.
- You hold a Dutch residence and/or work permit.
- Having knowledge of and enthusiasm for live events, particularly in gaming, anime, music, or film, is a plus.
