About the job
As the Head of Media (Social), you'll play a pivotal role at Gospooky in our journey to become Europe's leading social agency. This position is not just about overseeing media & data operations; it's about transforming how brands engage with consumers in the next five years. Your responsibilities will range from driving effective media strategy and executions and developing (paid) media propositions for our clients, as well as fostering strong relationships with media platforms to ensure we continue leading in our industry.
Responsibilities:
- Media Strategy Development: Craft and refine our paid media proposition, focusing on both top and lower-funnel strategies.
- Team Leadership: Manage daily operations, team planning, career development, and hiring to build a robust media team. The team currently consists of ±10 FTE with ±5 direct reports.
- Platform Relations: Cultivate and enhance relationships with various media platforms.
- Act as the primary or secondary contact for clients regarding media (both organic, paid, and earned).
- Oversee media planning and campaign execution for our clients, including accountability for financial oversight.
- Reporting & Insights: Contribute to and execute reporting and insights for clients, particularly for campaigns.
- Guide our data-driven content creation capability, including (insights from) community management
- Accountable for tooling & automation for our clients.
- Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership in paid media, campaign strategies, and execution on stage and on (social) media.
Dit is wie je bent
- 4-7 years of progressive experience in (social) media in a similar role preferably, a background in a media agency is a must.
- You understand the complexities of running pan-European campaigns, Dutch language skills are a plus.
- A track record in managing a bigger team and being able to drive change and operational efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Independent, capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in relevant systems and technologies (TikTok, Meta, Snap is a must, experience with social commerce, Roblox/Fortnite is a plus).
- Affinity with gaming, immersive technology and/or creator management is a plus.
