SMP Amsterdam (Bespoke) and SMP Production Music, independent leader in the Dutch music for media market, serve the B2B market with an advanced custom music service for online library and TV, film, and media professionals. Our sister company, Xusic/Podcastpro.studio (new label) is an innovative online music platform offering royalty-free music for Podcasters, content creators, vloggers, and social media users who need high-quality music that’s safe to use online.
Together, we deliver professional music solutions for both creative professionals and individual creators — combining state-of-the-art technology, licensing expertise, and high-quality music In a multiple of styles and genres tailored for media purposes.
About the job
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic and operational Marketing Lead who can act as a key connector between our B2B bespoke and production music customers and B2C music business. You will drive the overall marketing strategy and commercial execution — building brand visibility, generating leads, and increasing conversion across our platforms for the region of the Benelux, DACH and the UK.
You’ll report directly to the SMP Amsterdam management team and work closely with all business units (SMP Bespoke, SMP Production Music and Xusic.com/Podcastpro.studio). Initially, you’ll operate independently, but with the ability to coordinate and manage external specialists or agencies where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- ·Develop marketing vision and execute integrated marketing plans for both B2B and B2C markets.
- Strengthen the visibility and positioning of SMP Bespoke and SMP Production Music within the TV, film, and media production landscape.
- Strategizes online marketing and conversion strategies for both Podcastpro.studio/Xusic.com aimed at vloggers, YouTubers, podcasters, and other social creators.
- Coordinate brand communications, content marketing, and social campaigns.
- Coordinate and collaborate marketing execution with the internal SMP team.
- Manage collaborations with external agencies (SEO, social, PR, design, etc.).
Lead Generation
- Support to development and implementation of lead generation funnels for both B2B (editors, producers, agencies) and B2C (Podcasters, content creators, small businesses).
- Translate audience insights into actionable campaigns that attract and convert customers.
- Build relationship/partnerships with creators, influencers, and production houses through marketing efforts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-promotion, and partnerships between all business entities.
Strategic & Analytical Tasks
- Work closely with management as an advisor, sparring partner on positioning, pricing models, and marketing innovation.
- Analyze campaign results, user behavior, and conversion data to continuously improve performance.
- Contribute to the long-term brand and revenue strategy for both companies.

- A hands-on, creative marketeer with strong strategic and operational skills and a commercial mindset.
- Passionate about music, media, film, and social content creation.
- Experienced in both digital marketing and sales development, ideally within media, tech, or entertainment.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of both strategy and execution.
- Able to coordinate or direct both colleagues as external agencies or freelancers when needed, and/or build your own team.
- Data-driven, curious, and resourceful in finding ways to grow audience and revenue.
- Knowledge of AI (agents)
Your Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Media, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or sales, preferably in a creative or digital environment.
- Solid understanding of SEO, SEA, content marketing, and social advertising, understands how organic and paid media to apply.
- Familiarity with B2B and B2C lead generation, CRM tools, and performance analytics.
- Strong communication skills in English and Dutch, German is a plus
