From our office in Amsterdam, GEA Live designs, produces and distributes live entertainment inspired by and in collaboration with beloved brands and IPs. Projects range from TV shows, Film and Music, with its focus on Gaming and Anime, including Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, PlayStation the Concert, Demon Slayer in Concert, Dirty Dancing In Concert and Twilight In Concert, among many others.

About the job

As the Sales & Ticketing Coordinator at GEA Live, you will serve as the crucial link between booking, marketing, and sales teams. Your core responsibility is to manage, interpret, and enhance the flow of ticketing and sales data across all GEA Live productions ranging from major anime concerts to globally touring film and gaming shows. You will monitor and report on ticket sales, identify performance trends early, and drive actionable insights that help optimize marketing strategies and sales outcomes. For this role it’s important that you thrive in a dynamic environment, have strong excel skills and have an affinity for live entertainment. 

Key responsibilities:

Sales Tracking & Reporting

  • Collect and consolidate ticket sales data from promoters for all GEA Live productions.
  • Maintain and update internal sales tracking sheets.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Analysis & Insights

  • Monitor sales trends, compare performances across territories and timelines.
  • Provide insights and forecasts based on historical data and current performance.
  • Identify early warning signs or opportunities in sales trends and alert relevant teams.

Process Optimization

  • Develop and refine systems to manage and automate data flows.
  • Identify bottlenecks in current processes and propose practical improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT or use basic Excel coding or automation to streamline reporting.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Act as the liaison between booking, marketing, and sales departments.
  • Align sales performance data with marketing strategies and campaign outcomes.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute insights that support strategic decisions.
Dit is wie je bent
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Event Management).
  • 1–2 years of experience in live entertainment, preferably in ticketing or sales (e.g., at a music promoter, ticketing platform, or event production company) is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and possibly VBA or Google Sheets scripting.
  • Experience with or interest in automating reporting processes.
  • Basic understanding of data visualization and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to draw actionable insights from data.
  • Proactive attitude with a keen eye for spotting sales trends and taking initiative.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills; not afraid to pick up the phone and follow up.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Eager, hands-on, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative and creative setting.
  • Available full-time and on-site in the Amsterdam office for at least 4 days per week.​
  • Hold a Dutch residence and/or work permit.​
