From our offices in Amsterdam, GEA Live designs, produces and distributes live event initiatives inspired by beloved brands and IPs spanning TV, Film, Theater, Music, Gaming, Animé and more, including Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse In Concert, Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Dirty Dancing In Concert and Twilight In Concert, among many others. As an integral part of Sony Music’s Masterworks Live! group, we have the capability to bring our unique projects to life in any corner of the globe, boasting a rich history of 20 years hosting thousands of events in over 35 countries worldwide.
About the job
As Marketing & Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing efforts for our events and tours. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event marketing and communications. You will be immersed in a creative and supportive environment, working alongside experienced professionals to make a significant impact on our projects. You will report directly to the Manager of Marketing & PR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with event promoters and talent/IP owners to provide marketing support, supervising the localization of marketing assets, oversee the asset approval process, and manage announcement schedules.
- Digital Content Management: Regularly update our websites with the latest news, tour dates, and engaging marketing content. Collaborate with external designers to ensure our digital presence is vibrant and up-to-date.
- Asset Organization: Maintain and enhance our database of marketing assets, ensuring easy access to trailers, press releases, visuals, and more.
- Creative Development: Contribute to the creation and adaptation of marketing materials, including artwork, press releases, trailers, and behind-the-scenes content. Collaborate with a team of designers, video producers, and other creative professionals.
- Sales: Monitor, compile and analyze sales data to create sales dashboards for stakeholders.
- Social Media Management: Oversee GEA Live’s social media strategy, with a focus on enhancing our LinkedIn presence with relevant and fresh content.

- A profound passion for Events and Marketing, with prior experience in these fields highly regarded.
- Exceptional fluency in English.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and insights to inform marketing strategies.
- A creative, independent, and collaborative mindset, coupled with a vigorous desire to learn and grow.
- Marketing or Communications-related education, providing a solid foundation in the principles of marketing, digital strategies, and communication tactics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, SquareSpace, and an understanding of video editing software.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing, capable of engaging and expanding online audiences.
